Ms. Naznin Akter joined our lab as a PhD candidate in Fall-2017.

Naznin received her both BS and MS degree in Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering (APECE) from University of Dhaka, currently known Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Bangladesh in the year 2011 & 2013 respectively. During her undergraduate years, she worked on a project named “Optimizing the seamless Vertical Handover Performance in Heterogenous Network Topology”. After completing her graduation she has published one journal on “Performances of Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier at 980-nm Pump Power in Various Parameter Combinations” and she has also worked with a Telecom Vendor named Huawei Technologies Bangladesh Ltd. and a Telecom Operator Robi Axiata Ltd to gather and explore her industrial knowledge on network and communication technology.

She will be working on Visible Light Communication (VLC) project supported by NSF.
